Detroit Executives Association Names ePrize CEO Josh Linkner 'Executive of the Year'

DETROIT, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Detroit Executives Association will honor ePrize founder and chief executive officer Josh Linkner as its 2009 “Executive of the Year” at a noon luncheon Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Detroit Athletic Club, 241 Madison Ave., Detroit.

This marks the 28th year that the association has honored a business and
community leader with the award, according to President Mitchell K. Simon. “We chose Josh Linkner this year because he created a unique Michigan company that specializes in interactive web promotion and marketing. His company has pioneered a new industry that has expanded worldwide,” Simon stated. “He has grown a successful company in a very tough economy.” The corporate headquarters of ePrize is located in Pleasant Ridge, in Michigan’s Oakland County.

The annual award is presented to a business or community leader who exhibits exceptional leadership and devotion to the betterment of the Detroit area. Past “Executive of the Year” honorees have included Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, Compuware Corp. CEO Peter Karmanos, and DTE Energy CEO Anthony Earley.
