

She served as interactive producer for Corbis Productions and pioneered some of the first interactive content for MSN Entertainment. Her TV experience includes Assistant Director for Disney Presents…Bill Nye The Science Guy and children's productions for National Geographic and Seattle's KING 5 Television. Jen is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio, that is). She has authored articles on marketing engagement, customer experience and company culture for publications such as Chief Marketer, Total Retail, Econsultancy, CMO.com and IBM Think Marketing and has been featured in Bloomberg Business Week.

What do you do at Merkle?
I head up the digital experience side of our business: the go-to-market strategy/execution for our company, product and partnerships and the creative team that develops brand campaigns in market.
How did you get interested in your chosen field?
Growing up I aspired to be Jane Pauley, the host of The Today Show. I soon realized that I much preferred using my creativity telling stories behind the camera rather than in front of it.
What was your very first job?
My very first job was selling shoes with my friends at a boutique called Heart and Sole at age 15.
What is the most unique experience you’ve ever had?
I'm lucky to have had many interesting experiences - one of the most memorable was flying into an active volcano, heart pounding out of my chest, with Bill Nye the Science Guy while shooting the Volcanos show.

A little known fact about you:
I was in a rockabilly band in Seattle.
